Cleveland, OH (May 27, 2009)—Local independent agency Rutledge Group is commemorating its new Shaker Square location with a generous gift to E City, a Cleveland non-profit educational organization. The $1,000 gift will be made during a celebration at the new Rutledge Group office on June 4, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“We also believe that it is important for us to share our good fortune with the people of Cleveland,” said Darwin Rutledge, CEO. “We have always been very involved in community organizations that help our citizens advance. That’s why we are so pleased to be able to offer this gift to E City. They do great work and we are privileged to be a part of it.”

Rutledge Group’s open house event will introduce clients, partners and local dignitaries to the new office space, which consolidates two previous locations while also providing easier access for clients. “We are very excited about our move,” says Rutledge. “This new location is easy to find and park, and the space is inviting and professional.”

E City (Entrepreneurship: Connecting, Inspiring & Teaching Youth) teaches students entrepreneurial, business and life skills that enable economic independence. The program was founded by John Zitzner, a successful entrepreneur who wanted to empower teenagers to take control over their own futures. Since E City held its first class in 2002, more than 900 students have completed the program.

Founded in 1995, Rutledge Group offers home, auto, business and life insurance to a wide variety of clients.
