Darwin Rutledge, President & CEO

Darwin has more than 20 years in the insurance industry, including sales and sales management. During his career as an agent Darwin has received industry recognition for his performance leadership in sales and service. He started the Rutledge Insurance Agency in 1995, as a captive agent selling and servicing all lines of insurance for a major insurance company. In March 2000 he started his independent insurance agency, and in November 2008 the agency name was officially changed to Rutledge Group, Inc. As part of an independent agency Darwin and his staff have received recognition from major insurance carriers for top sales performance. Moreover, the agency has earned loyalty from its clients because of the value Darwin places on the client relationship and providing customer service that exceeds the clients’ expectation.
Deborah Rutledge, M.Ed, MBA, Chief Operating Officer

Deborah brings more than 20 years of management experience, including oversight of a $40 million dollar store with approximately 450 employees. Deborah has a BA from Miami University, an M.Ed from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from John Carroll University. She is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society. Deborah’s community involvement includes active board participation in several non-profit organizations in the Northeast Ohio Area.
Shuranda Jones, Senior Bond Account Manager

Shuranda brings 17 years of insurance experience. She has experience in property and casualty insurance. Shuranda is the Senior Bond Manager for all types of bond, including probate, contractor, lottery and fiduciary bonds. She understands the nuances and expectations of various insurance carriers regarding their respective underwriting guidelines.

Jennifer has 30 years of management and sales experience, including a long tenure with UPS that included operations, claims supervision, auditing, training and sales. She holds a BA from Ohio University and an MBA from John Carroll University.

As Marketing Executive, Aaron’s focus is marketing and lead generation for Rutledge Group. He combines his knowledge of property and casualty insurance with innovation and creativity to identify opportunities to provide quality products and service to both potential and current clients.
